01 The challenge

What needed solving

Forty-plus business processes — invoice matching, payment reconciliation, compliance reporting, vendor onboarding — ran on spreadsheets, email chains and multi-day approvals. The legacy ERP had no modern API layer to build against.

What we engineered

A Spring Boot microservices architecture with Kafka for event-driven communication. REST and SOAP adapters integrate the legacy ERP without modifying it. Idempotent pipelines handle invoice matching and reconciliation with PostgreSQL audit trails, and the whole system deploys on Kubernetes with Helm charts for reproducible infrastructure.
